I love a simple, yet sensuous, lip color. This is a great soft frosted pink. It will show up well in pictures, but it won't be overwhelming or overbearing. Pair this with either a more natural eye, or go more dramatic to balance things out. Think 'Adele' at the Grammy's. Very classic, yet seductive. The creamy red lip can be played up, or played down, depending on what kind of eye look you pair it with. For your big day, opt for a luscious ruby red with a more natural eye for a bit of spice. You can also go for the look seen here with a defined cat eye and the red lip to give a more pin-up style look. TIP: Always line and fill in your lips with a matching liner. Go around the edges with a concealer to create a streamline look and help the color from feathering.

Ok, I confess. I have a ridiculous girl crush on Petra Nemcova. She always has a very simple, yet polished look. Think about that for your wedding day. Just because you are in a gorgeous dress doesn't mean that you need to have perfectly placed curls or a fancy updo. Loose curls can still be formal. For added dazzle, add a pretty sparkled hair brooch or comb. This look can be perfect for a destination wedding, an outdoor ceremony, or you can pin a few pieces back near the front of your face for a different, yet simple, look. Start with day old dirty hair and divide the hair into 1"-2" sections. Spray each section with a light hold spray and wrap around the barrel of the curling iron, not clipping it in place on the actual curling iron. Pull each piece down while it's still hot to create softer waves. Finish with a holding spray. I love Big Sexy Hair Spray and Play. It's at Target now, and it's moderately priced. For shine, I love Moroccan Oil Glimmer Shine Spray, $24.
The classic bun. With a twist. Some people see putting their hair a bun as quick, messy, and tight. Here are a few simple rules to keep your bun classy, not trashy. (Note Julianne Hough--->) First, I like to start with day old dirty hair. Freshly cleaned hair doesn't have enough natural oils to keep your do looking great all day. Next, I smooth my hair with Moroccan Oil to create shine. It's light and smells awesome. Don't use too many products or your objective, height, may be compromised. Pull the hair back into a high pony tail, but make sure it's not too tight. Use bobby pins to secure the remaining hair around the pony tail. TIP: If you have frizz, smooth over with hairspray and an old toothbrush. For added volume, use texturizer, curl the ponytail, and tease it before pinning it up. Top the look off with a finishing spray and shine spray. Voila!
Natural, well, "semi-natural," and not overdone always looks the best. Opt for a subtle liner to create a nice, soft look. Definitely use a kohl or wax based pencil to achieve this, as liquid can be too precise and is best used for a cat eye. Using your pencil, apply liner to the upper and lower lash lines . Directly onto the lid may create a darker harsher look. Smudge and blend and you're done. For the more experienced, try tightlining. Using a flat liner brush, dip it into water and mix with your product, making sure it's not too runny, but not too thick. Pull the eye slightly taught and dab the liner directly onto the lash line. Dab all the way across and don't drag the liner. There you have it. A tightline.
When most of us hear "smokey eye" we think dark black and Olivia on Jerseylicious. Not all smokey eyes have to be black. Use neutrals instead of intense colors to start. Apply the lighter shadow all over the eye up to the brow bone. Use the darker shade to the crease, about 2/3 of the way across, and a little to the outer corner using an angled brush. Then blend, blend, blend. For a softer look than pictured here, use brown kohl liner or wet your brush and dip it in dark brown shadow to line the eye. Don't forget to blend- that's the key to achieving the PERFECT soft neutral smokey eye. 
My latest obsession: Shellac. Well, actually I was introduced to Shellac well over a year ago when I went back home to CA. Luckily, the trend caught on and now almost every salon offers Shellac in tons of colors. It's totally a super polish that lasts for up to 14 days (I've had some that lasts longer.) Nails are prepared like how they normally would be for a manicure, then a base gel is applied and cured under UV lights. The color of choice, or french manicure, is applied and cured again and repeated. The nails are wiped with alcohol and you're left with a lasting manicure with NO SMUDGES!Hopefully some of these tips and trends will help you feel less stressed about your wedding day look. These are virtually effortless and timeless trends to keep you classy, yet gorgeous on your special day.
Now that I have more closure from the whole other girlfriend thing, I feel like I can move on and close that chapter. I found out that I was forbidden to go to his memorial service in order to keep myself and the other girl away from each other. I have no idea who she is, and I would not even try to cause a problem. I doubt she knew or knows who I am as well, but in all reality, both of us were lied to and I can't be mad at her for that. I send her my condolences as well, and now it's time for me to move on.
